Years later I drive a second hand Toyota Starlet that I bought with cash that had just 40,000km on the clock. Almost 10 years in that car runs like a dream, has never caused me a single problem and costs next to nothing to run.
I could buy an expensive car but I want other things, including my freedom, a whole lot more.
Most people pay more in insurance and registration on their car in a year than I pay for every vehicle expense I have.
And most people also have to make a car repayment, expensive maintenance etc etc.
Exactly! We trade freedom for stuff!
