“You can talk about _______________ all you want, but…”

I’d love to hear what you come up with, so please share in the comments. Oh, and please keep your posts below an R-rating. It’s a family show, after all!

  1. “You can talk about yourself all you want, but it’s just a one-way conversation,
Go ahead and brag all you like, it’s okay, I really don’t mind,
‘Cause if this is all you want to do, then I don’t have to talk about you…”

    Enjoyed this one!!

  2. You can talk about the way it was,or all you thought it could be,with us…but years have passed, and time’s moved on…and we must go on too…The summer’s of the soul, take us past the winter blues,…and I”LL cherish the thoughts I have of you…
But everything moves on,that’s a pattern of this life….Sometimes the bends in the roads…move us in a different light…season’s come and go,like a windy, rainy day….so keep on walking down your road, cherish what you have,…Color your world, today….

  3. Ghosts To Toast

    V1.
-You can talk ‘bout shambition all ya want.
-But ya know your name’s a long gone past that still haunts.
    -I raise a glass girl,
a glass of what’s left of me.
    -Like a sacrificial heart drip-droppin’ love’s destiny.
-I just wanna’ thank you for playin’ me the most.
Here’s to lessons learned and ghosts to toast.

    V2.
-You can call me ammunition that had a shot.
-But ya know you’re a fun, smokin’ gun that’s always hot.
    -I load another round,
a round for anyone who’ll listen.
-One shot goin’ down chases what I’m not forgettin’.
-I wonder if this tat of you could be made into a rose?
Here’s to lessons learned and ghosts to toast.

    BRIDGE
    I ain’t hatin’.
    But, I ain’t playin’.
What don’t break me makes me I’m sayin’.
    I ain’t quittin’
    But, I ain’t grinnin’
I guess having had you’s ‘bout forgivin’.
