Welcome to Wordplay Thursday!
Here’s a writing prompt for you. It’s a simple fill-in-the-blank. You can use one word or several. Feel free to get as crazy, genre-appropriate, or as imaginative as you want. The point is to get the creative juices flowing. And it’s a good thing to dig deeper, so don’t stop at the first idea that hits you. Try coming up with at least five things.
“His report was about as organized as _____.”
I’ll give you an example to get you started:
“His report was about as organized as a freshman’s dorm room.”
I’d love to hear what you come up with, so please share in the comments. Oh, and please keep your posts below an R-rating. It’s a family show, after all!

“His report was about as organized as the kitchen junk drawer.”

Have done this only once, so I just took the liberty of shooting off at least 10 in a very short brain-storm moment. Now, (JK)–that means “just kidding,” I will be watching for your future hits with any such lyrics.
Seriously, thank you so much for what you do for amateur and beyond, songwriters. My organization, one you would be very unlikely to have even heard of at this point–it is named RITHAAME ENTERPRISES[?]1992 (pronounced “rhythm”), was established while I lived in Louisiana. Actually, that is where I lived until around 26; however, before I moved up here, I formed RITHAAME to help educate, encourage, provide performance venues, provide network opportunities and even introductions to semi or professional industry personnel. Without “name-dropping,” I was very pleased and thankful for the success my organization enjoyed.
Due to an illness, I have tabled the whole music venture for quite some time; however, I have slowly been taking baby steps to dream new dreams and plan new plans in this arena.
Hopefully, I will have a complete BLUEGRASS band formed by this time next year–I’ve been into this genre for about 3 years–NOW I’M SERIOUSLY IN LOVE WITH THE WHOLE MUSICAL AND CULTURAL ADVENTURE. Also, hope to host the GRAND OPENING of my ” RAISED-IN-A-BARN ” Entertainment in the later part of March. I will host weekly JAM nights for singers, writers, musicians, comedians…..etc. Future months will be filled with a few industry-educational events, I’ll call……………………………………………… ” SITTIN’-ROUND-THE-TABLE TIPS.” Also, I’ll have music and video production divisions, along with a rehearsal and showcase venue. Writers will be a HUGE focus– I’ll have a writing room within my upstart publishing company. Eventually, hope to act in the capacity of artists/writer/musician development; management; booking agent and BETTER than anything else: A FRIEND to the would-be-FAMOUS.

Adam, you and Tim come to Nashville, I’ll rent a steel cage, and we’ll get this thing settled!
I’ll give Adam the Titanic and change mine to a toupee on a trampoline.
