Welcome to Wordplay Thursday!
Here’s a writing prompt for you. It’s a simple fill-in-the-blank. You can use one word or several. Feel free to get as crazy, genre-appropriate, or as imaginative as you want. The point is to get the creative juices flowing. And it’s a good thing to dig deeper, so don’t stop at the first idea that hits you. Try coming up with at least five things.
“His love is deeper than _____.”
I’ll give you an example to get you started:
“His love is deeper than a mine shaft.”

the belly of the beast.
His love is deeper than a fraudian slip. His love is deeper than the trouble she will eventually cause.

“His love is deeper than the hole the roast the pig in each year.”
“His love is deeper than Johnny Cash’s voice.”
“His love is deeper than the ruts in his lawn from his sons 4 wheeler.”
“His love is deeper than giant squid but is seen every day by those around him.”

Than the hole she pulled me from.
And her heart’s what saved the soul,
Of the man that I’ve become.
