Wordplay Thursday #277

Welcome to Wordplay Thursday!

Here’s a word or phrase to put in your lyric. Feel free to use it to start off YOUR song.  It could be in the first line of your song, or not.  You can get serious or silly.  Whatever gets you going!

“wheel”

I’d love to hear what you come up with, so please share in the comments. Oh, and please keep your posts below an R-rating. It’s a family show, after all!

  1. It recently came to me
That the wheel is unique to humanity
What once was will be again
it seems it’s just how things happen
If we open our eyes, aware of what’s there
It will give us time in our lives to prepare

  2. Wheel

You can hear the grinding noise
three tires rolling down the sidewalk
A blonde haired girl with a pony tail
Pedaling as fast as she can

She’s Danica her hair flies in the wind
She’s gonna win that checkered flag
Small town clocks turn slow but
    Someday she will be

    A big wheel
    Big wheel rolling
    Rolling rolling faster
    Gonna be a big wheel.

  3. The wheel of time keeps on spinning
Each day comes and each day goes
Confusion sets in on who is really winning
But the truth be known as each day grows
