Welcome to Wordplay Thursday!

  1. (Here’s the chorus.)

    Your love is a crime.
    Somebody call the sheriff.
    Cause, You’ve stolen my time.
But tell him I don’t care if,
You’ve stolen my wallet and you’ve stolen your car.
I don’t care ’cause you’ve stolen half by bed and all of my heart.
Tell that sheriff I don’t care ’cause I’m right here where you are.

  2. Your love is an empty promise
Your heart is dark and cruel
    Somebody call the dogs off
I’m tired of being the fool

  3. Here’s a chorus.

Your love is a loose cannon
    Somebody call a fire truck
    I’ve run out of water
And you’ve run out of luck
    We’ve tried to smother
    The flames, but my dear
    You explode when I’m here

This feels more like a song where the couple has tried to work out the relationship, but it’s not meant to be. Also, I kind of imagine it as a country ballad, which is weird because I rarely write in that specific genre, haha!

  4. Your love is a disease somebody call a doctor. Its probably to late for me, but the next guy shouldn’t suffer.
I think you get a thrill out of putting menin the ground you use us for what you can get as you slowly kill without a sound.
As much as I hate to admit it I loved every single minute
I loved the good times and the sick abuse to me it’s all the same drug
I could have went on like the forever, but you swept me under the rug
