  1. They got married, got plates and blenders,
But something never felt right within her.
She missed her old life, and the new weight on her shoulders feels daunting.
    The dreams she hides away,
    Pleasant hauntings.
She could go on and pretend,
But she would be trapped in a one sided prison for the third time again…

  2. They have nothing to their name
I guess his gambling was to blame
He loved his poker when they met
Each thing they buy they go in debt.

    so they got married
put an end to that living in sin
    ya they got married
to get some cash from all their kin

So they said their vows.. they were never enders
    Oh they got married
but all the got were plates and blenders
    from all the senders.

    1. love this!! I would change

They have nothing to their name
I guess his gambling was to blame
He loved his poker when they met
Each thing they buy they go in debt.

“Each thing they Bought they got in debt”
Maybe to respect the past tense already used in the previous sentences?

      Real good poem

  3. They got married, got plates and blenders…“
He brought along his old car with the fender bender
She kept hidden in a drawer from her first boyfriend his love letter

  4. “They got married, got plates and blenders,
creating new life, new doors, together.
Expectations! Wow we’ve grown up !
    Will we be the same
    forever to each other?

    Next thing you know
    we’re spelling our letters
    spilling our hearts
    it’s all for the better

    is it better?
    is it better?
    is it better?

  5. “They got married, got plates and blenders,

Expectations! Wow we’ve grown up !
    Will we be the same
    forever to each other?
