  1. My heart is a mysterious place:
    Studied for it’s anatomy
It seems much more than that to me
    A place of poets’ dreams
And a place of our darkest schemes
A symbol of the brave at their peak
It’s absence tagged on the weak
A place for you to take
And a place that won’t bend– it just breaks

  2. It’s big and strong but sometimes too heavy
It’s hard to break and easy to fix
It costs a lot to run it
But once you do, you’re always glad you did
And you want one like this
My heart is like an old chevrolet
Built to last, no matter how bad the hits it took along the way
Its still runnin, its still runnin, its still runnin
    Its runnin still today

  3. ‘Ghosts To Toast’

    V1.
-My heart’s a cold, vacant house.
-Things will never be the same now.
-I call her name and scream out loud.
-Echos run down the carcass I’m in.
-I walk the halls spinnin’ my wheels.
    -Wearin’ thin desperation’s chills.
-To sit still I’d have to take a pill.
-I’ll drink her off my mind again.

    CH.
-When the good’s goin’, goin’, and gone.
-When my night’s last forever and swollen eyes see dawn.
-Her memory’s playin’ tricks in my head.
    -Her chains-n-shackles rattlin’ my bed.
-When I walk holes in this floor ‘til spooked.
-When all we had is dead, now fading too.
-Her apparition steals my haunted heart.
-Her on my mind is tearin’ me apart.
    Whiskey burns.
    She appears, it hurts.
And I got ghosts to toast.

    1. Hi,
      Here is an echo:

Her smile was like a light
      she was unreal

      She was the home
      of my heart
but she did’nt know about it

      I saw her passing by
      smiling
      beauty always on the run
but no way to catch her

Her smile was like a light
      she was unreal

      I was hunting for love
      but no game to see
      making my journey
      on a rainy day

      Always
      she would pass by
      smiling

      romance in my mind
I saw her in my arms
      everyone thought
      I was crazy

Her smile was like a light
      she was unreal

And one day she moved away
      but she remained
      in my dream for ever

Her smile was like a light
      she was unreal

        1. Hi, thanks. Maybe another one for the road:

          Lily

          Lily was her name
          so sweet to say
          on a morning sky
          she passed by

          Her name was like
          a breeze
          softly on her lips

          Strange fondle of the wind
          when she moves away
          her perfume
          like fire on my skin

          Lily was her name
          so sweet to say

          And a day
          I said hello
          she returned my smile
          and we came together

          Hey the world
          became like the sun
          warming my heart
          and feeding my soul

          Lily was her name
          so sweet to say

          Walking through the city
          moments
          stolen to eternity
Lily was so much for me

          But I can’t marry you
          she said
          freedom
          was her last word

          Lily was her name
          so sweet to say

          In the morning
          when emotions win
          the pain of loneliness
          takes over the day

          Looking at the window
          noone to see
          the streets full of unknown
          time gone by

          Lily was her name
          so sweet to say
