  1. There’s a line in this glass
tells you when you should stop pouring
it was designed to help new bartenders
& it works most of the time
until I walk in & tell the bartender
fill mine to the fault line

  2. There’s a reflection in the glass
And a voice from the past
    It reminds me
    First you learn to cry
    then you learn to laugh
    Then you learn to laugh
    to keep from crying’

There was an old man I once knew
He looked a lot like you
    Said never bite
    the twisted hand of fate
    Cause you’d end up
    with the scar
    So here we are

    Chorus:
    Reflections in glass
    Scars of the past
    He’s chasin his song
    So he keeps movin along
With the cheaters dice that you cast

    Cold drops keep running down
I think their tryin to drown
    Those times we
    Should of held on to
    Now it’s to late
    So just walk on past
    Those reflections in the glass

    Chorus:
    Reflections in glass
    Scars of the past
    He’s chasin his song
    So he keeps movin along
With the cheaters dice that you cast

  4. There’s a scratch in this glass
But it’s smooth to the touch
    A life almost broken
    Hidden beneath white powdered dust.

She screams out a cuss word
Throws her phone down the hall
    Who needs a cell phone
    When there’s nobody to call.

So she falls to her knees
Says God give me a sign
    The phone starts ringing
Its her Mom’s voice on the line.

She says Baby I miss you
    Why don’t you come home.
