  1. There’s this book my parents often grab
I notice it most when times are bad
When money just doesn’t come through our door
I see them reading it a awful lot more

Haven’t read it , never gave it much thought
What’s a parable , whose Noah and his boat
No, I don’t have time for this stuff
My texting world keeps me busy enough
    But
I do see how that book eases them
And this school life can get kind of rough
I might just give it a look when
On those days when life gets just too tough
    But
I don’t read books, my phone is all I need
I text daily with friends and family
But they’re there and I’m here
There’s a reason the folks keep that book near by
I’m gonna sit down and see if it speaks to me
Heck, I might even discuss it with them .. actually

( off topic.. but I thought a new beginning ( faith ) would be different look )
