Medical emergency, no post or workshop today.
August 22, 2016 Uncategorized

I apologize for sending out a postthis way, but I’m working off my phone in a hospital.  A close family member had a medical emergency last night, and I’ve been at the hospital all night. I’m afraid I’ll be here till sometime tomorrow.

Comsequently, I won’t be sending out a post today. Much more regrettably, I have to postpone tonight’s “Song Ideas: From Blank Page To Finished Lyric” Webshop.

if you are a member of the workshop series, I apologize. I’d email you directly, but my laptop (with your email address) is back at the house. We’ll reschedule.

Thank you for your understanding.

God bless,

Brent

  16. Hi, everyone. Thank you so much for your support! Our family is doing well. After an ambulance ride, ER visit, and surgery, we’re back home and focused on recovery. Everything’s gonna be fine. It was a really scary night, but we’re good.

    Again, thank you!

    God bless,

    Brent

  17. So sorry to hear of this Brent, but happy now to hear all is better!

That’s a VERY sickening feeling and load to carry. I had a similar experience where my daughter had to be flown to Arkansas Children’s hospital, but neither my wife nor I were able to ride in the helicoptor with her. As we raced to the house to quickly pack a bag for overnight and our hi-speed 2hr drive to catch up with them, I remember seeing the helicoptor fly over our house and just being in a catatonic stare. It was the loudest sound, that created the most deafining, dead quite in my head. I’ll never forget it.

Glad to hear your wife’s doing better and congrats on the boys as well. Way to keep it all goin’ and afloat my brutha’!

—-Ah,…..the life and times of a good family man!
