I just woke up and saw the news about the shooting at the Route 91 Harvest music festival. My heart hurts for everyone involved.
I hope each of you in the Songwriting Pro community and your loved ones are safe. I hope you will join me in praying for healing for all the injured- for those hurt both physically and emotionally.
These types of events are becoming all too common around the world these days. It’s frightening and saddening.
I’ve decided not to share a songwriting post today. That just seems small and unimportant. Instead, I’ve decided to share something more valuable. Infinitely more valuable. Life is short and unpredictable, but there is good news. This world is broken, but it won’t stay that way.

Thanks Brent… My family & I look forward to going this festival every year and this was the first year we missed it….still in shock…we know many who were there…and are now safe except for one young girl who was shot in the shoulder and suffered injuries from being trampled….our prayers are with all who had to endure this horrific tragedy…
