Here’s a writing prompt for you. It’s a simple fill-in-the-blank. You can use one word or several. Feel free to get as crazy, genre-appropriate, or as imaginative as you want. The point is to get the creative juices flowing. And it’s a good thing to dig deeper, so don’t stop at the first idea that hits you. Try coming up with at least five things- and try to get IMAGERY in at least one of your plays!

non-stop, four-legged followers of a hand that is patting heads and smells like a bacony goodness breakfast might just be possible.
smiling little entertainers, who make a slobbery ball appear from thin air just like a magician.
the only best friend you’ll tolerate bad breath, matted hair, and body stench from, then wanna’ go take a selfie with.
Dogs are :
-the go to happy place in your heart
-the only creature that loves you more than themselves
-the definition of loyalty
-a cold wet nose with a heart of gold
-your biggest fan!
Dogs are……..
automatic sprinkler totin’, land mine unloadin’, postman bitin’ furry lawn soldiers.
Dogs are better than most people!
Dogs are the better parts of us!
Dogs are proof God’s angels walk among us!

.. are predictable…, are protectors, comforters, companions, consolers, and mood changers — not bad for a small four legged package
